Design Files

Customers are NOT entitled to editable source files (.AI, .PSD, .EPS, etc.) unless:

  • Agreed in writing
  • A file release fee is paid

5. Custom Designs & Artwork Ownership

  • All custom designs created remain the sole intellectual property of BK Print Co Ltd
  • Customers are purchasing a physical product only, not ownership of the design

You are granted:

  • A limited, non-transferable licence to use the design on the purchased product only

You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, copy, resell, or modify the design
  • Use it for commercial purposes outside the agreed scope

Any breach may result in legal action.


6. Design Fee Disclaimer

Design fees cover:

  • Time
  • Labour
  • Creative work

They do NOT include:

  • Ownership rights
  • Access to design files
  • Commercial rights

All design files remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.


7. Branding & Watermarks

We reserve the right to include:

  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Watermarks

on designs or products unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Removal or alteration is strictly prohibited.


8. Customer Responsibilities

You confirm that:

  • You have the right to any artwork you submit
  • Your content does not infringe third-party rights
  • All information provided is accurate

You accept full responsibility for any legal issues arising from submitted content.


9. User Content (Comments & Media)

If you post content on our website:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for marketing
  • You confirm you have rights to that content

We reserve the right to remove any content that is:

  • Offensive
  • Illegal
  • Misleading

10. Orders, Currency & Payments

  • All prices are displayed in the customer’s local currency where applicable
  • Currency conversion is automatically calculated based on your location and may vary depending on exchange rates and payment provider fees
  • All transactions are processed securely in GBP (£) or your selected/local currency depending on the payment method
  • By placing an order, you acknowledge that:
    • Exchange rates may fluctuate
    • The final amount charged may vary slightly due to currency conversion and bank/provider fees

11. Production & Delivery

  • All items are made to order unless stated
  • Production times are estimates, not guarantees
  • We are not responsible for courier or customs delays
  • We ship worldwide, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges applicable in their country
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.

12. Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • Custom items are non-refundable unless faulty
  • Non-custom items may be returned within 14 days (unused)

Faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with evidence.

We reserve the right to offer a replacement instead of a refund.


13. Installation Disclaimer

  • Professional installation is recommended
  • We are not responsible for installation errors
  • No refunds will be given due to incorrect fitting

Section 22. Chargebacks, Payment Disputes & Fraud Prevention

1. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with us, you agree to:

  • Our Production, Design and Approval processes

2. Custom Orders & Design Approval

For custom or made-to-order items:

  • Design proofs, mockups, or previews may be provided
  • Approval (written or digital) constitutes final acceptance of the design

Once approved:

  • The design is considered correct
  • The order is considered confirmed
  • Production begins

❗ After approval, claims such as:

  • “Item not as described”
  • “I don’t like the design”
  • “I changed my mind”

➡️ Will NOT be accepted as valid grounds for refund or dispute


3. Product Description & Variations

By purchasing, you acknowledge:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to screens and printing
  • Minor differences in fitment or finish may occur
  • Installation quality affects final appearance

These are not considered defects.


4. Installation Responsibility

  • Professional installation is recommended
  • We are not responsible for damage caused during fitting

❗ Any issues resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Attempted installation
  • Environmental factors

➡️ Will NOT be accepted as valid dispute reasons


5. Evidence for Claims

To raise any issue, you must provide:

  • Clear photographic evidence
  • Original packaging (if applicable)
  • Order details

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in rejection of the claim.


6. Fraudulent or Abusive Chargebacks

We take fraudulent disputes seriously.

If a customer initiates a chargeback without contacting us first:

We reserve the right to:

  • Provide full evidence to the payment provider, including:
    • Proof of delivery
    • Design approvals
    • Communication records
    • IP logs and order data
  • Challenge the dispute in full
  • Restrict or block future orders
  • Recover costs associated with the chargeback

7. Resolution Process

Customers must:

  • Allow reasonable time for investigation and resolution

We will always attempt to:

  • Repair
  • Or resolve the issue

where appropriate under UK consumer law.
